The Vidyalankar Campus at Wadala observed the momentous occasion of Bharat’s 75th Republic Day, which marks the historic adoption of the Constitution on this day in 1950. Dr. Amit Oak, Chief Operations Officer, and Head, Department of Management Studies, VIT was the Chief Guest for the ceremony at the campus and he paid tributes to our motherland by unfurling the National Flag. In his inspiring address to the gathering, Dr. Oak shared insights on how our nation is charging ahead, being the fifth largest economy powered by one sixth of the world’s population. He reiterated the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, “Sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, sabka prayas”. Dr. Oak outlined our nation's stellar progress achieved through inclusive action and active use of technology, by taking care of its people through affordable housing, health insurance, biometric identification, Swachhta Abhiyaan, digital connectivity, banking initiatives, covid vaccines, and renewable energy usage. Shri Milind Tadvalkar, (Director, Vidyalankar Educational Campus) motivated the youthful gathering to implement their engineering and technological prowess for the progress of the nation by providing sustainable solutions and to utilize this “Amrit Kaal” to lead the nation to further pinnacles of glory.
